Results not coming ... Joey Antipas

MOTOR Action head coach Joey Antipas has parted ways with the Mighty Bulls after a string of poor  results by the team.

Antipas tendered his resignation on Tuesday. He said he took the decision to leave his post because results were not forthcoming.

“I have resigned. We have parted ways amicably. In football when results are not coming, it’s the honourable thing to do," said Antipas.

His deputy David George is set take over as the Mighty Bulls travel to Shabanie for a league match on Saturday.

Motor Action are battling against the forces of darkness at the foot of the table. They have managed just 14 points from 20 matches after losing their last match 0-2 to Triangle.

Antipas guided the team to the league title in 2010 but has left the team with just three wins, five draws and have lost 12 matches.

Motor Action, owned by Eric Rosen, have seen an exodus of players as the club experiences financial problems.
