YOUNG Warriors forward Walter Musona is now back at FC Platinum following a three-week trial stint at South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.

Musona had been trying out at the Chloorkop side that is also yet to make public their position on him.

Even if he made the 18-year-old made the grade, he would have to wait for the South African off-season to join the club which no longer has space for foreigners.

“I think I did well to impress the coaches there. I loved the training and was exposed to better facilities,” Musaona said.

“It was not my first time though to have trials with them so I knew a few of some guys I had met last year when I went there. They welcomed me and they are a very warm family.”

He was part of the Sundowns squad that travelled to Zambia for a mid-season training camp last month.

Meanwhile, FC Platinum have made a shocking capture of Dynamos defender Gift Bello.

Bello signed for the Zvishavane side last Friday and was coached by FC Platinum coach Lloyd Mutasa at Kiglon a few seasons ago.

Mutasa is also still keen on midfielder Devon Chafa whom he coached at Kiglon and Dynamos respectively.

Chafa is currently serving a Fifa doping ban.

Mutasa has however missed out on another Dynamos player Thomas Magorimbo.
