THE return of the Warriors from the Chan tournament is set to establish a fresh battle ground for the jostling of signatures for players.

Already names are being thrown around on who is joining which club.

Topping the most wanted player is Sundowns new acquisition Kuda Mahachi whom Dynamos and Highlanders are bidding to have on a six month loan.

The player himself appears undecided yet and Highlanders chairman Peter Dube said they have not made moves for the exciting winger.

“We cannot say anything on the player at the moment. We are aware of rumours that he is headed here but there is nothing to say from our side.

"There are some players who were at Chan that are linked with us but even their owners or themselves have not approached us,” Dube said.

Highlanders are also said to be interested in Chicken Inn anchorman Danny Phiri who was one of Zimbabwe’s star performers at Chan.

Hwange are battling to keep defender Erick Chipeta who is also reported to be on Highlanders’ radar together with Chicken Inn captain Felix Chindungwe.

Charles Sibanda has also been linked with Highlanders following the expiry of his FC Platinum contract in December last year.
