CZECH Republic-based defender Costa Nhamoinesu ends a seven-year absence from the national team after he was included in the Warriors squad to face Malawi in an international friendly match in Blantyre on Wednesday.

The Sparta Prague left-back is the only European-based player in Ian Gorowa’s 17-man squad.

Nhamoinesu last turned out for the Warriors in 2007 in an international friendly match against Mozambique.

Six South African-based players feature in Gorowa’s squad including talisman Knowledge Musona, Khama Billiat and Pretoria University goalkeeper Washington Arubi.

FC Platinum new defender Gift Bello has become a surprise inclusion and is close to make his Warriors debut.

No Dynamos player has been included as the Harare giants would be leaving for DRC on the day the Warriors play Malawi.

Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa who is also assistant to Gorowa will not travel to Malawi as he will be with his team to face AS Vita in the Caf Champions League first round reverse leg.
