Musona to seal Chiefs return deal
Agent denies Musona in Spain, Jaure hitch

WARRIORS chief striker Knowledge Musona is back in Germany from Spain after completing one week training with Spanish side Granada B team.

The striker’s agent, Mike Makaab, said the Zimbabwean international has been training with the Spanish La Liga B side to build up his fitness.

Makaab was quoted by South African media saying although there were still hopes for the player to return to former club Kaizer Chiefs, there was another offer from overseas which was being considered.

“I would still say that there is a 50-50 chance of Knowledge coming back to Chiefs. At the moment there is another overseas offer that is being considered, but we should have more clarity by the end of the week,” said Makaab.

Reports in Germany however, suggest that Kaizer Chiefs are the favourites to bring Musona on board for the third time.

A German publication, Kicker, reported thatthe 24-year-old was set to re-join Chiefs on loan for the second season in a row after he failed to secure a move elsewhere in Europe.

The deal with Kaizer Chiefs is expected to be confirmed before the end of this week.

Having trained with Granada, the Hoffenheim striker is believed to have now returned to full fitness and could be available for immediate selection (work permit issues permitting) should Chiefs manage to complete the deal in the coming days as expected.
