HIGHLANDERS have hiked gate charges for Thursday’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter against Triangle set for Hartsfield Grounds to control supporters.

The stadium, owned by the Matabeleland Football Rugby Board, can only accommodate about 5000 fans and a perimeter fence has already been erected by the owners to safeguard the players and fans in case of trouble.

Fans will pay $5 for rest of the ground, $10 for the wings while the VIP tribune has been pegged at $20.

Highlanders, who have dropped to fourth position on 32 points, three behind ZPC, are without a win in four league matches and need to pick up maximum points against Triangle if they are to keep pace with the leading trio.

They have been leapfrogged by Caps United who have 33 points and are now in third place while Dynamos and ZPC are on 35 points apiece.

After last week's 1-0 win over Shabanie Mine in the Chibuku Super Cup, coach Kelvin Kaindu believes his charges have gained to some kind of confidence and are in a position for a rebound.

In the reverse fixture, Bosso beat Triangle 3-1 at Gibbo Stadium.

However, Triangle have also not lost in four league matches and last week knocked out Hwange from the Chibuku Super Cup at the Colliery and will be in no mood to compromise their recently found form.

FIXTURES & RESULTS

Thursday: Dynamos v Hwange FC (Gwanzura Stadium1500hrs), Highlanders v Triangle United (Hartsfield 1500hrs)
