DYNAMOS have been hit by a suspension to key defender Themba Ndlovu ahead of Saturday’s big battle against FC Platinum at Mandava.

Ndlovu has accumulated three yellow cards, according to a list released by the Castle Premier Soccer League on Thursday.

Dynamos coach Calisto Pasuwa, who is also sweating over the fitness of leftback Ocean Mushure, might have to play the defender through a pain barrier and push captain Thomas Magorimbo to partner Augustine Mbara in central defence.

Young Blessing Moyo will keep his place at the right wing back.

FC Platinum have no such worries in their team with only Zambian import Obrey Chirwa likely to pass a late fitness test to make the game.

For their part Highlanders have two players suspended in central defender Dumisani Ndlovu, who scored his first ever goal against How Mine last week in the Chibuku Super Cup and midfielder Simon Munawa for their match against Harare City in the capital.

Dumisani’s suspension means former skipper Innocent Mapuranga will return to the starting lineup to partner Eric Mudzingwa into central defence while new signing Webster Chingodza will be on the right wing back and Bruce Kangwa on the left.

Munawa’s suspension will give Pasca Manhanga, returning after a serving two game suspension, a starting place although there is Welcome Ndiweni who is also eyeing a place in the team.

On their part Harare City will have to do without defender Benson Maglasi.

Saturday: Chicken Inn v Bantu Rovers (Hartsfield Stadium), FC Platinum v Dynamos (Mandava Stadium), Harare City v Highlanders (Rufaro Stadium), Chiredzi v Shabanie Mine (Chishamiso Stadium).

Sunday: Caps United v How Mine v (Rufaro Stadium), Buffaloes v Triangle United v Sakubva Stadium, Hwange v Chapungu (Colliery Stadium), ZPC Kariba v Black Rhinos (Gwanzura)
