Caps United coach off to Cameroon

DYNAMOS coach Callisto Pasuwa is still confident they can lift the league title on Sunday despite that feat lying in the hands of Caps United or leaders ZPC Kariba.

The Harare giants go into the last match of the campaign trailing ZPC by two points.

For them to be crowned champions, they need to beat How Mine at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday and pray that Caps overcome leaders ZPC Kariba.

Pasuwa’s men are not new to such scenarios as they found themselves in the same equation last season.

They needed a win on the final day last season and needed Caps to beat Harare City and it went like that as they became champions.

History could repeat itself but Pasuwa is concentrating on their game without looking at other matches.

“We just need to collect three points from How Mine and see what happens later. We are not minding what will happen at other centres,” he said.

“I have been telling the boys that we just need to go out there and do the job for ourselves. Yes there is still a chance for us to win the championship but like I said, it has to be out of our own work. Let us just wait for Sunday.”

Dynamos will be missing suspended striker Roderick Mutuma.

SUNDAY: Black Rhinos v Bantu Rovers, Dynamos v How Mine, Buffaloes v Hwange Colliery, Harare City v Chicken Inn, Highlanders v Chapungu, FC Platinum v Chiredzi FC, Triangle v Shabanie, ZPC Kariba v Caps United
