Young Warriors Swaziland match off

YOUNG Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa has named a 21-man provisional squad, including four foreign-based players for the All-Africa Games qualifier against Swaziland in Mbabane in two weeks’ time.

England based Macauley Bonne who plays his club football for Colchester United’s and Marvelous Nakamba of Dutch topflight league side Vitesse are some of the high profile stars called up by Pasuwa.

The former Dynamos coach also added a new face into the team Judah Rashirai who plays for the Real Salt Academy in the US.

There is also Mamelodi Sundowns star winger Kuda Mahachi.

Zifa spokesman Xolisani Gwesela said the team would go into camp on Friday ahead of the trip to Mbambane, Swaziland next.

It could however, prove to be a tall order for Pasuwa to get Mahachi for the match as the South Africa Absa Premiership has just resumed the second half of the season and the Brazilians will not be willing to have him released.

FULL SQUAD

Goalkeepers: Tatenda Mukuruva, Donovan Bernard, Tonderayi Mateyaunga

Defenders: Douglas Sibanda, Blessing Moyo, Munyaradzi Nyenye, Teenage Hadebe, Kelvin Moyo

Midfielders: Nqobizitha Masuku, Wisdom Mutasa, Walter Musona, Kudakwashe Mahachi, Marvellous Nakamba, King Nadolo, Carlos Rusere, Pritchard Mphelele, Tafadzwa Kutinyu

Strikers: Emmanuel Mandiranga, Talent Chawapiwa, Judah Rashirai, Macauley Bonne.
