Leaders Chicken Inn focused on title

LEAGUE leaders Chicken Inn will miss the services of defender Passmore Bernard when they take on defending champions Dynamos in Bulawayo on Sunday.

According to the PSL Bernard is suspended for the match after accumulating three yellow cards against Dongo Saw Mill, ZPC Kariba and Triangle.

Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas however said he was ready to face the champions despite the set-back.

"It's a set-back but we have to cope with it. We are ready to face them Dynamos. It's a very important match for us and hopefully we will win," said Antipas.

Chicken Inn were dumped out of the Chibuku Super Cup by Chapungu who beat them on penalties.

In contrast, the Glamour Boys will be buoyant when they troop to Bulawayo after booting out Chibuku Super Cup title holders FC Platinum 7-6 in a penalty shoot-out.

Chicken Inn, lead the pack with 49 points, while Dynamos are third with 42 points, with seven matches left in the 2015 season.

The match between the two sides has been hyped as the title decider. Dynamos were beaten 3-0 in Harare in the last encounter.

In other games, FC Platinum, on position two with 44 points, return to Bulawayo where they last hammered How Mine 3-0 to face struggling Tsholotsho FC at White City Stadium at the weekend.
