DYNAMOS forward Rodreck Mutuma and full back Ocean Mushure have been called up to the national team by coach, Kalisto Pasuwa, as Zimbabwe prepares for the Chan 2016 Nations Cup first leg against Lesotho in Bulawayo on later this month.

According to the fixtures, the Warriors will be at home for their final qualifier, first leg tie on October 18 with the reverse fixture slated for Maseru the following weekend.

The Chan tournament is designed exclusively for home-based players.

Apart from the Dynamos pair, Pasuwa has also called up Highlanders defender Bruce Kangwa while FC Platinum striker Brian Muzondiwa's goal-scoring exploits have also been recognised.

The Warriors coach has been forced to make some adjustments to the side which won against Comoros in the preliminary round following the departure of some of the players to professional leagues abroad.

Players who left and are no longer eligible to play in this tournament include Young Warriors skipper Wisdom Mutasa, his former FC Platinum teammate Walter Musona and ex-CAPS United left-back Ronald Pfumbidzai.

Also unavailable is former Buffaloes defender Liberty Chakoroma who is now with Free States Stars in South Africa.

Evans Rusike a former Hwange striker who joined Maritzburg United and striker Tinotenda Kadewere who moved to Swedish top-flight outfit Djagardens from Harare City were also part of the Chan before they switched to professional clubs in Africa and Europe making them ineligible for the tournament.
