AFTER storming into the final of the Chibuku Super Cup following Sunday’s 1-0 edging of Chapungu at Mandava, Dynamos coach Tonderayi Ndiraya believes hopes of ending the season with a double are now alive.

The Harare giants will now meet Harare City in the final of the Chibuku Super Cup while their hunt of a fifth straight league title is also still on.

With six games before the league race ends, they trail Chicken Inn by four points but will have to hope for the PSL leaders to slump and hand them the advantage of league glory.

Ndiraya is positive the season could end with both the Chibuku Super Cup and PSL title in their trophy cabinet.

“We are now looking forward to meet Harare City in the final and I pray that the match would be played in Harare,” he said.

“We worked hard to get into the final and we now want to win this Cup for all the hard work we have done.

“The other good thing is that we are still in the running for the league title. There is so much belief in the team that we can end the season with a double.

“As we look at it right now, it is very much possible for us to win both pieces of silverware this season although on the league front we would require Chicken Inn to drop some points.

“But I believe everything will work in our favour.”

Both the league title and Chibuku Super Cup come with tickets to participate in next year’s Caf Champions League and Confederations Cup respectively.
