BULWAYO City became the second Division One team to book next season’s PSL ticket following a 1-0 win away at Trumus on Saturday.

The Philani Ncube-coached side stormed into the top-flight lead after gaining an unassailable seven point lead with two games left before the Southern Region Division One League season ends.

They join Ngezi Platinum who last week grabbed a Premiership ticket from the Northern Region Division One League with six games remaining.

City shrugged off challenge from their neighbors Bulawayo Chiefs who were their nearest challengers.

Ncube’s side has some veterans in former Highlanders captain Innocent Mapuranga, Simba Sithole and Welcome Ndiweni.

With Thsolotsho likely to be relegated from the current PSL campaign, Bulawayo City will make the city of Bulawayo remain with three PSL teams.
