DYNAMOS vice-captain Ocean Mushure feels losing the Chibuku Super Cup last weekend will inspire them for a spirited display against Caps United in Sunday’s derby showdown at Rufaro Stadium.

The Harare giants lost 2-1 last weekend to surrender the Chibuku Super Cup to Harare City.

They now shift attention to the league campaign where they now have slim chances of winning the championship race.

Mushure and his colleagues will face Caps on the backdrop of a three-match winless run in all competitions.

“We failed to pick maximum points in our last two league matches and we also lost to Harare City in the Chibuku Cup. That is not a pleasant situation for a big club like Dynamos,” Mushure said.

“But we will rise up. That is going to inspire us to do well against Caps United. We can never lose a derby match so we will ensure we get all the points. We are ready and we have been preparing hard for this match. As players we just have to keep up with the right mentality.”

Dynamos last lost to Caps United in a league match back in 2009 when Nyasha Mushekwi struck a brace to hand Caps victory.
