MAMELODI Sundowns have received a boost ahead of the Telkom Knockout Final against Kaizer Chiefs with the return to training of Zimbabwean playmaker Khama Billiat.

Billiat linked up with his teammates on Monday after recovering from a concussion he sustained in his club's 3-1 win over Free State Stars on November 21.

He was knocked out by Daouda Diakite when contesting a Keagan Dolly cross at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with the stars goalkeeper later apologising to the diminutive 25-year-old.

While Billiat is back at work, fellow Downs attacker Themba Zwane remains on the sidelines with a groin injury.

Meanwhile, South Africa U-23 captain Dolly is expected to arrive home on Monday from the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Senegal.

The TKO Final will take place two days later in Durban, with kick-off set at 18h00 at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
