On target in midweek ... Tendai Ndoro

TENDAI Ndoro showed that he still knows where the back of the net is after scoring the only goal of the game as Orlando Pirates beat Mpumalanga Black Aces in a friendly on Wednesday.

The match was played at the Greek Sporting Club, with the Zimbabwean making the decisive play against his former club.

Ndoro has battled for game-time since joining the Buccaneers, playing just three League matches and having yet to find the back of the net.

He also didn’t feature in either of the cups – MTN8 and Telkom Knockout – and was not registered for the CAF Confederation Cup.

There is talk that Ndoro could be let go in January, but he will hope that this goal would have made the technical team sit up and take notice.
