HIGHLANDERS underlined their title credentials after seeing off title challengers ZPC Kariba 1-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday.

Adriah Silla had the final say in this riveting contest, putting the ball behind the nets on 40 minutes.

The win saw the Bulawayo giants now under the guidance of Dutchman Elroy Alkaby maintaining their position on the top of the log with 26 points.

In other matches played yesterday FC Platinum overcame Triangle 2-0 courtesy of goals by RodwellChinyengetere and Ismael Wadi. Tonderai Ndiraya got off to a winning start as coach of Ngezi Platinum beating Border Strikers 1-0 with James Ngulube getting the only goal of the match.

Meanwhile, Mutare City shocked Hwange 1-0 courtesy of Chasten Ndongonda.
