Dynamos held at Border but point vital

BULAWAYO giants Highlanders blew away a good opportunity to climb to the top of the league table after stuttering to a lifeless goalless draw against Mutare City in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at Sakubva Stadium Thursday.

A win for Bosso could have taken them to the top of the table with 29 points the same as Caps United who dismissed Tsholotsho 2-0 at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Still Highlanders would have led the table because of a superior goal difference.

But after a stumble to Mutare City, Caps United emerged the major beneficiaries as they remain at the summit of the table.

With Highlanders recieving Caps United at Barbourfields on Sunday in their back to back clashes the stage has been set for one of the most intriguing conclusion of the championship race.
