SOUTH Africa: Golden Arrows have been dealt a blow with news that Kudakwashe Mahachi will be out for six weeks with an injury to his right arm.

The Zimbabwean attacker sustained the knock when he fell awkwardly at training.

"I will be out for six weeks and it happened on my right arm," Mahachi tells KickOff.com.

"I think I will be out for almost six games. I was admitted to hospital for three operations and it went well.

"For me this is a big blow but what can I say? It's God's plan but I will be okay and I will come back stronger."

Arrows coach Clinton Larsen will now have to rely more on Nduduzo Sibiya, Clifton Miheso, Wayde Jooste and Andile Fikizolo, who was given extra time off following his participation at the Olympic Games in Brazil.

Abafana Bes'thende will resume their league campaign against new franchise Cape Town City at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu, Durban on Wednesday.
