Katsvairo determined to bring silverware to Kaizer Chiefs

KAIZER Chiefs forward Michelle Katsvairo has his sights on the Telkom Knockout trophy as Amakhosi begin their quest tonight against Maritzburg United.

The Team of Choice travel to Gauteng where Chiefs await them at the FNB Stadium for a last 16 clash scheduled to kick off at 20:15.

Katsvairo is confident that his side will excell as preparations during the week have gone very well and spirits are high.

“We enter this game as part of our quest to lift the trophy,” the Zimbabwean forward tells the club's official website. “The preparations went well this week. We have been working hard and with God's grace we will win this cup.”

“The morale is high in the camp and everyone is looking forward to a great display of football. I want to do a good job for the team. I want to help the team win trophies.”

Steve Komphela is without George Maluleka who is suspeded following a red card in Chiefs' league win over Ajax Cape Town but he has Keagan Buchanan, Lucky Baloyi and Enocent Mkhabela all in contention according to the club's website.
