UK-BASED Caps United fans and ex-players last weekend celebrated the crowning of their team as the 2016 Premier Soccer league Champions.

Organised by the Caps Legends and hosted by GBI Marketplace, the celebrations were held in Birmingham at the Iqbal Banqueting suite.

Among the legends that were present was Joe Mugabe, former Captain and former national team player, Timothy Chirozvani, Kevin Mushambi, Liberty Masunda, Ticha Nyenda, Brian Badza, Frank Nyamukuta, Artwell Mabhiza and Ray Undi among others.

The event also attracted the likes of former Dynamos captain, Memory Mucherahohwa, and Charles Kaseke, former Black aces player, Muzondiwa Mugadza, former Zimbabwe Saints and Warriors goalkeeper.

The event also saw the auctioning of Caps United t-shirts signed by the legends. The highest auctioned Golf T-shirt, signed by Mugabe, went for £100.00.

According to the organisers of the event, the money will be used to sponsor Caps juniors.
